Wendys in Raleigh, North Carolina - Disappointed

I have been eating Wendy's for over 20 years and have always enjoyed the Home style Chicken Sandwich with cheese. I currently live in Raleigh, NC and today I was craving a Home style Chicken Sandwich with cheese. I ordered one, cause I hadn't had one in a long time, and it was terrible. What happened to crispy chicken? It tasted like I frozen chicken patty from school lunch in grade school. Wendy's you are sacrificing quality for quantity and profits and it sucks. Wish Dave was still around. He'd be ashamed!Go back to the old recipes. They were tons better.

Wendys in Miami, Florida - Wendy's at Pembroke Pines

I went to eat at Wendy's ordered a Grilled Chiken Sandwich Combo, when drinking my Diet Coke I noticed that it was just soda water, I guess the syrup was low, I aproached the manager with this issued and the manager reply that nobody had complained, also told her to please check and she reply that she have nothing to do with that, she also mention that is a Coca Cola problem, she was going to let them know.......well I was planning to drink my soda with the sandwich, poor customer service!!!!! specially from the manager, not diet coke, not lemonade and not hi-c at this machine, all runned out!

The manager blames it one the beverage servicer? She can't even check to see if all that's needed is a change of the flavor packet?

And having changed it, apoligize and get the aggrieved customer a fresh drink? (And either a refund, a free product or a coupon?

for her trouble? That's one dumb, uncaring, incompetent *** of a manager whom I'd fire on the spot.

Wendys in Harrisonburg, Virginia - Rotten tooth manager

I was recently at a wendys in waynesboro va and happened to see the manager smile and he had a mouth full of rotten teeth . whether it from poor hygiene or *** mouth" i dont know either way i was completely disgusted and could get the image out of my head and was unable to finish my meal !! I think good hygiene should be a must in the restraunt business , cause my feeling is if the person cant take of his or hers own health how could he posibly care about mine as he prepares my food or over sees the preperation of my food.......

Did it occur to you that it could be because he simply has some sort of gum/tooth issue and can't afford all of the dental work he needs to fix it? It isn't cheap, especially on a manager's salary at a fast food restaurant, even with the insurance that's offered.

Today i went to the wendy at the coner of mervale and meadowlands i have ordered 2 baconators and one wrap and is not wat i got i asked for a baconator not half of a chedder baconator im so pissed bcuz i didnt get wat i asked for. And now when i try to submit this complaint i have to type 100 words for your *** satifiction now u have just lost a customer im so *** pissed at your service and you should recommand less word so people dont get pissed for writing so *** much now change it. ALL companies should train their employees to treat each other with respect, especially a person who has disability of any kind!! With the economy as it is, there have been people let go for any reason they can come up with; to remove ones that had been there a long time making more money, that are 'different' than others,that are older, that they don't like, that have a mind of their own, or who are even good workers! They are an equally discriminatory company! Wendy's has had many law suits for this reason...do not work for them, they have no understanding and do not care!

Wendys in Morton, Illinois - Unhappy wendy's Employee

I've worked there for 7 months and I've been a great employee there. All of a sudden they stopped giving me hours and starting changing the schedule after it was posted, with out telling the employees. Now every one is being fired and they are hiring new people. I haven't received any hour for 3 weeks. when i was working there, they treated me horribly and were constantly pushing me beyond my limits and they still said it was to slow. I've always heard stories like this from current and previous employee's but it took it actually happening to me to realize how horrible it was.

this is something that corporate would be interested in hearing about. tell them what the managers are doing and how it is effecting you and the other employees that are currently working there.

You may be entitled to some compensation because of what they managers are doing. my recommendation is to stay calm and make sure you speak with someone that can help you, not just a regular customers service agent.

What you should do, is go to every Township/City meeting open to the public and complain about it. Find other people who where messed over and demand the restaurants business license be revoked.

Wendys in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Wendy's Disappoints Everyday

The "Everyday Value Menu" consists of just 8 small items. The Doublestack Burger has even been replaced by the significantly smaller Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe. Yet time and again, I have left Wendy's empty-handed in utter disgust because several of the items on that list were significantly more expensive than the advertised price of 99 cents. Their tagline states, "Real Choices, Real Value, Everyday". The statement "Prices & participation may vary" is noted in MINISCULE print at the bottom of the menu. While this fulfills their obligation to admit that they reserve the right to worm their way out of offering these items at the advertised price, it still feels like cheating. Do they really expect customers to call around to every local Wendy's until they find one that will honor advertised prices? That would first assume that all such phone calls will be answered during peak hours of operation. That is very hard to believe, because it would take up a great amount of their staff's time and slow down counter service. Asking in person at the restaurant for the prices of each specific item would lengthen the amount of time spent waiting in line for one's turn to "check market prices" as it were. Neither option is very appealing. Better to do business elsewhere. My family used to LOVE Wendy's for its unique menu. Now we don't even bother to include them in our fast food options. I believe Dave would be disappointed by how far they have strayed from the family-friendly values he cherished.

Wendy's... The food has gone completely downhill ever since Dave Thomas died.

The fries are served cold and always undercooked or overcooked in a new oil that tastes more like oil and less like potatoes. The burger is loose and tastes frozen. Cause it is. The buns, in addition to having some new gritty stuff stuck to them, are hard and thick and all you can taste.

On top of this, their prices keep going up.

I used to go about twice a week, but now I don't go at all. They've gone from the best fast food out there to one of the worst.

Wait, you had to go to Wendy's several times to confirm the prices had went up? And just in case you haven't been to the grocery store or watched the news recently--prices are going up on everything.

When prices of beef, dairy, etc. go up, so does the cost you are charged at restaurants.

Also, yeah their fries are terrible. I just drive-thru and get a burger or spicy chicken and get a drink at a convenience store.

Exactly.The Doublestack,5 Piece Chicken Nuggets,etc all went from 99 cents to 1.29.

REALLY? a THIRTY PERCENT increase?come on,just ridiculous.Like they can't afford to sell that 2nd little beef patty or the 5 piece nuggets for a buck anymore.

Wendys in Grayslake, Illinois - Dave Thomas is PISSED OFF in Heaven Right Now!

Me and a friend went to the Wendys on Grand Avenue in Gurnee,Illinois after seeing Captain America.I order my food,an Asiago Chicken Combo meal. I stand there waiting for almost 10 minutes as 2 people in the kitchen stand flapping there jaws and joking around while 2 others are stuck with all the work. The guy who took my order put my fries in the paper container and on my tray immediately after putting my order in,which is *** because the sandwich isn't ready yet and the fries get cold in the meantime (I have noticed this is done at other Wendys too.) So in the 10 minute wait,he throws out my now cold fries and replaces them,which is cool of him.But when he throws them out,I notice the trash can IS FULL OF FRIES!This guy wastes food that people in Africa would kill to have!So I get my full meal,and go to sit down and enjoy it as my friend is still waiting for his food,also for about 10 minutes now.I *** in,the chicken is lukewarm,almost no sauce,and the bun is kind of dry.My friend finally gets his food,unwraps the Double Bacon Deluxe he ordered...AND IT'S A CHICKEN SANDWICH. He takes it back up there,the guy doesn't apologize or anything,just gave him a grunt,like a monkey or something.This poor,homeless looking old black guy who could only buy a 1 dollar chicken sandwich,AND HAD TO DO IT WITH CHANGE,asks "Are you just gonna throw that out?"The *** nozzle behind the counter says "Uhhh YEAH",real smart ***,and the poor looking guy says "is there any way I could have it?"Smart *** *** nozzle says"UHHHH do you have the money to pay for it?"knowing of course that he doesn't.Poor guy says "well no,but..."Then the *** nozzle just silently throws it in the trash...WHILE STILL MAINTAINING EYE CONTACT W/ THE POOR DUDE!I know for a fact there is a place in *** next to Hitler for this little ***!! My friend gets his replacement sandwich...AND IT'S A QUARTER POUND SINGLE WITH CHEESE AND EVERYTHING ON IT!!My friend gets pissed,asks for his money back.Douch Nozzle who is Going to *** When He Dies says he can put in another order and THROWS THE SANDWICH OUT.My firend DEMANDS his money back,the guy puts up a fuss,gets the manager. Manager comes out,doesn't even ask what's wrong,just gives him his money and we're about to leave...when SOMEONE SLIPS ON THE WET FLOOR BECAUSE THE LADY WHO WAS JUST MOPPING IT DID NOT PUT UP A CAUTION SIGN! He was a young guy,and caught himself before making full contact w/ the ground,so he's okay,but come on. This is the most dysfunctional Wendys...no,the most dyfunctional BUSINESS I've ever seen.Lazy,smart ***,cruel,apathetic,wasteful employees.MAY THE GHOST OF DAVE THOMAS TAKE VENGEANCE ON YOU AS YOU SLEEP,DOUCHEBAGS!!!

I did order some bridesmaids dresses from storeofdress al. I have to say those were very well done. I was very please with them.
